PUBLIC TRANSPORT OF PASSENGERS. OPTIMIZATION OF TIMETABLE ROUTES
Abstract: Urban mobility is ensured through public passenger transport and other key components. The reliability of the transport service can be achieved by optimizing route schedules, reducing waiting times, and increasing passenger satisfaction. This study examines the main principles for the development of public transport. Based on an analysis of local conditions, demographic trends, and survey data, the need for better synchronization between lines and more frequent service intervals is identified. The study highlights the need to optimize route schedules through their synchronization, as well as the necessity of applying mathematical models and optimization algorithms.
Keywords: public passenger transport, route schedules
