Abstract

Modulation is an important part of processing signals that can be transmitted via different transmission media. Depending on the application, different techniques can be applied. In this paper, only phase modulation is investigated, as it is used in wireless communication (such as Wi-Fi and GSM), satellite communications, and navigation systems. The interactive methods that are used during the teaching of the topic “Investigation of Phase Modulation” are presented. To enhance students’ interest and engagement, the lecturer uses different interactive methods, which are presented with the task that students need to solve during exercise classes, and the solution that they find. With this method, different skills essential for the 21st century are developed or improved.
