ANALYSIS OF THE ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE THE PURITY OF THE ATMOSPHERIC AIR ON THE TERRITORY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF

Abstract

The purity of the atmospheric air is of utmost importance for the residents of the municipality of Ruse. In recent years, excesses of fine particulate matter (PM) above the maximum permissible values have been established. This obliges the mayor of the municipality to develop and implement programs to reduce the levels of pollutants to reach the approved standards. A local system for monitoring and controlling the quality of the atmospheric air has been built.
