DESIGN AS A CREATION OF THE HUMAN EGO
Abstract
The article draws the audience's attention to the human ego, which is fundamental to creativity and design. This clarification is of great importance in the context of artificial intelligence and unclear regulations regarding its use as a tool but not as a primary creator, designer or architect. The article briefly touches on the relationship between ego and spiritual development to present the notion that technological progress must occur in parallel with spiritual development.
The article presents examples of designers from various fields who, with their personal views, style or philosophy, sculpe eras and culture. In this way, the conclusion is reached that design must be the privilege of humans, not of AI subcontractors.
