Abstract

The purpose of the report is to examine parents' attitudes towards reading among their children and the impact this has on their development and emotional well-being.
The results of a survey among parents of children from the "Vechernitsa" kindergarten, Blagoevgrad, are presented. The analysis of the survey shows that parents have a positive attitude towards reading and understand its benefits. However, there are challenges related to maintaining the interest of children and the selection of appropriate books. The results will contribute to a better understanding of the role of parents in supporting the reading development and emotional well-being of their children.
