PSYCHIATRIC HEALTH CARE IN BULGARIA: SWOT ANALYSIS
Abstract
Efforts to improve patient safety are usually made through quality improvements, such as best practices and standardization, which directly affect patient safety. After a study of the existing regulatory framework and a review of the literature, a SWOT analysis was prepared, which formulated the strengths and weaknesses and outlined the challenges in providing quality and safe health care for patients with mental illnesses.
The formulation of the problem moments and the possibilities for their solution, the social dialogue with the participation of governments, employers, health professionals and their representative organizations are of decisively importance for a transformative strategy, creating a developed and sustainable health system and increasing the quality and safety of psychiatric health cares.
