Abstract

Even ancient tribes have been looking for different methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy using natural natural products such as dates, honey and acacia. Over the years, a woman's place and her rights have gone through great transformations to reach the point where she has the opportunity to choose when to produce offspring. Despite the great experience from the past to the present day, a large number of women of childbearing age in Bulgaria and worldwide start performing preconception activities and family planning too late. This necessitates the need for an overall increase in public awareness of the benefits of these medical contraceptive care. Worryingly, the sample of those surveyed are those who do not want pregnancy, but do not use the offered and available contraceptives. Here, the need for medical education is an urgent and imperative process. The relationship between trainers and trainees is complicated due to touching on topics from the partners' intimate and sexual lives. There is a tendency to ignore and neglect topics related to the novelties of contraceptive counseling. This raises issues related to the training of future midwives and nurses. Their theoretical possibilities provide a basis for consultations aimed at target groups with medical indications for the use of modern and time-proven contraceptives.
