Abstract

The paper reviews the progress towards the completion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations by the year 2025 which marks 10 years since the adoption of the goals. It outlines the basic achievements and challenges. It makes an overview of the main critiques to the way the goals are formulated - an approach which, to some extent and concerning some of the goals, makes it hard to achieve them.
