PERCEPTIONS OF GRAPHIC DESIGN LEARNERS REGARDING THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION: AN ANALYSIS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH FINDINGS
Abstract
This article examines the attitudes of secondary school and university students studying graphic design toward the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational process. Based on an empirical study involving over 150 participants, the analysis explores perceived benefits, risks, and the degree of acceptance of AI as part of the learning experience. The findings indicate that the majority of respondents view AI as a useful tool that accelerates workflow, stimulates creativity, and facilitates learning. At the same time, concerns emerge related to the loss of individuality, ethical dilemmas, and dependence on technology. Based on the collected data, the article offers recommendations for adapting pedagogical approaches to support the effective and ethical integration of AI into graphic design education.
