DESIGN OF PIPE MOUTHPIECE, MADE FROM ACRYLIC BLOCK
Abstract
In the production of pipes, a wide variety of materials and shapes are available for the tips and heads of these products. A large part of them are produced in a mechanized manner. The head of the pipe is an element that forms the main part of its appearance, but the tip, known as the "mouthpiece", also plays an important role. Matrix casting is among the most commonly used methods for creating tips, which largely limits the variety of shapes and leads to an overall boring appearance of the pipe. In order to avoid this uniformity, it is necessary to apply an original solution that is not dependent and tied to the matrix casting, in which things are decided in advance.
