TECHNOLOGICAL EVOLUTION OF VISUAL PRESENTATIONS: FROM STATIC IMAGES TO IMMERSIVE AR/VR ENVIRONMENTS
Abstract
The article provides a comprehensive overview of the technological evolution in visual communications, tracing the transition from traditional static formats to contemporary immersive environments such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). By analysing the strengths and limitations of various digital communication tools, the paper explores how technological dynamics influence design processes and audience engagement. Special attention is given to the shift in user roles - from passive observers to active participants within interactive digital spaces. The findings suggest that while new technologies offer significant advantages in terms of emotional impact and memorability, their effective implementation requires a strategic approach tailored to specific communication goals and user attitudes.
